Janet Irene Ferguson Brubaker

Janet Irene Ferguson Brubaker of Owasso, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Tulsa with her family by her side.  Janet was born on March 19, 1955, in Tulsa, OK to William and Margaret (Raley) Conner.  After high school, Janet attended OSU and later worked as a chemist in the oil and gas industry. She later worked in real estate where she excelled.

Janet despised the cold weather and never vacationed in cold climates.  Her perfect getaways included beaches, oceans and a lot of sun.  The Caribbean was her location of choice.

Janet was a loving person with a generous heart and a strong relationship with God.  She had a great love for animals. She had horses in her youth and later trained dogs.  Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.  She spent much of her time with them. Especially watching grandson Hunter play baseball and granddaughter Wrenn ice skate.

Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Janet is survived by her husband, David Wrenn Brubaker of the home; her daughter Julia McDonald and husband Robert; 4 grandchildren, Wrenn, Hunter, Jacob and Brycen McDonald; and a host of extended family and friends.  Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Margaret Conner.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 am, Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nathan Mattox officiating.
