James H. Webb

James H. "Jimmy" Webb of Chanute, Kansas passed away on June 8, 2006.

He was born June 16, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Valjean F. and Juanita (Bowman) Webb. Jimmy graduated from Ramona (Oklahoma) High School in 1967.

Jimmy worked as the Department Manager in the Garden Department of the Chanute Walmart for 18 years. He was a member of the Cecil J. Meeker, Post #1654 of the V.F.W. in Chanute.
Jimmy is survived by his father and step-mother, Valjean and Clara Webb of Chanute, KS; a sister, Rita Strack and her husband Mike of Collinsville, OK; 5 neices and nephews, Justin Blunt, Chris Blunt, Monica Wells, Michelle Higgins, and Michael Strack, Jr.; 8 great-nephews and 1 great-niece; and a host of other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Webb.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the Collinsville Funeral Home Chapel in Collinsville, OK.
