James Leroy “Jimmy” Todd went to his heavenly home on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the age of 88. He was a beloved stepfather and grandfather, a respected military veteren and a Christian. Jim was born on February 13, 1933 in Pawhuska, OK to John and Susan (Devlin) Todd. He proudly served in the military entering at the young age of 17 and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force for two tours. He grew up in Sand Springs Oklahoma where he loved to tinker with cars, build small engines and go to the stock car races. He had his own business as a barber in Tulsa for many years and later relocated to the Branson, Mo. area with his wife where he retired from Tyson Foods. He enjoyed puttering around his small farm, and fixing things and shared a small quilting shop with his wife Frances in Shell Knob Missouri. Jim enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors. He was a true doggy dad and leaves behind his beloved dog, Silky. Jim loved spending time with his family and friends, especially sharing good barbeque ribs and telling his stories that made everyone smile. Quite the teaser he was. He had a pure soul and found comfort in his friends and family. All will miss him dearly.
Jim is survived by his stepdaughters, Wanda Jean Goode, Kathy Henderson, Melissa Buchanan, Diana Rhodes, Jane Henderson, Trina K. Henderson Torres, and Julie Todd Alva (and their respective spouses) as well as 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Frances Dalleen Stephens Todd, and his brother Jerry Don Todd.
