James "Jr" Ralph Arnold

James Ralph “J.R.” Arnold, 41, of Oologah, OK passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Oologah, OK. He was born December 6, 1971 in Minneola, KS to James Perry Arnold and the former Martha Baker. He was a Rancher who loved horses and roping. He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. He had been a quadriplegic since getting injured in a football game at the age of 16. He was an amazing Dad. He married Renee on October 15, 2008.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Arnold of the home. 2 daughters: Jordyn Arnold and Vanessa Arnold of the home. 3 step-children: Brittany Wells of Chelsea, OK, Tyler Wells and Tayler Wells of the home. 3 Grandchildren: Chevie Layne Hayes and Royce and Cydnee Stephenson of Chelsea. His parents: Martha and Perry Arnold of Hutchinson, KS and Grandfather, Jim Arnold of Hutchinson, KS. 1 Brother: Dusty Arnold and his wife Stephanie of Hutchinson, KS, 1 sister: Tamra Algrim of Blackwell, OK. 2 Aunts: Vivian Dome of Ashland, KS and Cetra Salmans of Hanston, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents: Ralph and Marybell Baker and Vesta Arnold.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to his caregivers: Tiffany Baumann, Georgia Hayes and Misty Beaver.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Fellowship Community Church with Pastor Leon Hargrove officiating. Pallbearers will be, Jon Mages, Mike Lind, Chub Brewer, Wade Brewer, Bradley Brewer and Tyler Wells. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Hayes and Tony Brewer.

Burial will be in Ashland, KS on Thursday.

Services are under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
