James William "Jim" Casebeer

James William Casebeer of Oologah, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was 81. Jim was born on December 24, 1932 in Tulsa, OK to James D. Casebeer and the former Ruby Alice Kirk. He met and married Mary Sisney in June of 1960. Together they raised five children. Jim worked as a fireman for 22 years until his retirement as a Captain with the Tulsa Fire Department. He and his wife have lived in the Oologah area for the last 53 years having moved from Broken Arrow. He leaves behind a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jim is survived by his wife Mary Casebeer of the home; his children, Vickie Webb and husband Jack, Marvin Casebeer and wife Donna, Jimmy Casebeer, and Bill Casebeer and wife Adrianne; his siblings, Shirley Adams, Jack Casebeer, Dan Casebeer, and Janet Fritts; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruby Casebeer, and his son Mike Casebeer.

Visitation for Jim will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. The service will conclude at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
