Jacquelyn Hudson passed away on Monday November 9, 2009. She was born Jacquelyn Hall on July 12, 1929 to Edward Luther and Mary Edith Leird-Hall in Talala, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oologah High School in 1947 and married Paul Everett Hudson on October 7, 1948. She was a retired administrator from Collinsville Manor. Friends called her Jack or Jackie and most of her relatives called her ‘Granny’ or ‘Granny Jack’. Jackie enjoyed working in her flower beds, playing bridge with friends and sisters and always had an open door to anyone who came by. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents: Luther and Edith Hall; her husband: Paul Everett Hudson; one brother: Bill Hall and one sister: Patricia Pearson. She is survived by her two children: Karen Kay Miller and husband Jack Miller; Tommy Kurn Hudson and wife Sharon Hudson; five grandchildren: Shelly Standridge and husband Justin, Cody Miller and wife Erica, Brooke Blackwood and husband, Quannah; Adam Miller and wife Whitney, and Tyler Hudson. She also had seven great-grandchildren: Parker Brown, Trent Brown, Brooklyn Smith, Noah Blackwood, Nora Miller, Ethan Miller, and Macee Standridge. In addition, she is survived by four brothers: Bob Hall, Walter Hall and wife Erma Lee, Thomas Hall and John Hall and wife Katherine; three sisters: Maggie Jo Hargrove, Mary Catherine Butner and husband Joe, and Faye Godfrey and husband Marvin, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Jackie will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Services will be Thursday November 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
