Jack Thomas Vannatta

Jack Thomas VanNatta, 77, of this area passed away January 7, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. He was born January 15, 1943 in Mineral Wells, TX to JT VanNatta and the former Dorothy Bryson. He had lived in this area since 1978 having moved from Texas. While in Texas, Jack worked for General Dynamics where he made equipment that went into space on the Apollo and Mercury missions. Jack had worked in the Oilfield, Geophysical Sciences and Computer Sciences. He had a love of flying and was proud to be an American. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Collinsville where he served as a Deacon and a teacher to all of the children.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gwen VanNatta, 2 children: David VanNatta and his wife Trina and Donna Olivier, 1 brother: Jerry VanNatta and his wife Ronda and 1 sister: Linda Fischer. 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren also survive him.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
