Jack Metcalf

Jack Metcalf, 83, resident of Collinsville, OK since 1968, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Owasso, OK. He was born October 10, 1930 in Sand Springs, OK to Walter Lee and Elzora (Merrell) Metcalf. He was a retired Machinist, was a Deacon at the Free Will Baptist Church, a member of The Gideons International, an active supporter of the Hillsdale FWB College, active with the Glue Dobbers Airplane Association. He served in the United States Army. He and his wife Wanda married August 25, 2000 in Collinsville, OK.

He is survived by his wife Wanda of the home, 2 daughters: Amy and Julie and families. Step-Children, Nancy, Rita and Dwyan and their families, and Karen and Kathy and their families. 1 Sister: Edith Pauline Sager, a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lilli. His son: John Metcalf, 1 Brother: Roy Lee Metcalf, 1 Step-son: Cliff and 2 step-daughters: Janet and Sharon.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.


Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Adcock, Rev. Hermon Wood and Rev. Steven Shotzman officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services Are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to John Metcalf Scholarship Fund at Hillsdale FWB College or to the Gideons International.
