Jack Duane Harp

Jack Duane Harp, 85, of Collinsville, OK passed away August 5, 2018 in Owasso. He was born in Rock Springs, WY to Charnell L. Harp and the former Esther M Buchanan. He graduated in 1951 from Pawnee High School and joined the Navy before receiving his diploma. He attend Central State University in 1953. He joined the Army in 1955 and retired as a 1 ^st Sargent in 1978. He fought in Korea and Vietnam receiving several Honors and Medals. In 1969, he married Margarete Hartl in Lancaster, PN. After retiring from the Army, he work for Indian Electric in Cleveland, OK. He had lived in the Collinsville area since 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Margarete of the home, 2 sons: Rudiger Diehl and his wife Kay of Cleveland, OK and Dale Harp and his wife Stephanie of Collinsville. 1 daughter: Christine Ertl and her husband Joseph of Vilseck, Germany, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister: Judy Horn of Norman, OK.

Preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Sally Sullivan.
