Jack Adrian Webster

Jack Adrian Webster took the hand of the Lord and followed him home Saturday, May 29, 2021 surrounded by his family, he was 92. Jack was born on December 29, 1928 in Lenapah, Oklahoma to Harry & Ethyl Webster . He attended school in Lenapah graduating in 1947; on October 13, 1948 he joined the Navy serving in the Korean War aboard the U.S.S. Philip. He was honorably discharged on September 25, 1952. He then worked for Cunningham Construction before starting his career with the Union Pacific railroad as a brakeman on the Coffeyville Extra Board on February 13, 1960; he was later promoted to conductor in 1967 most of his career was in Coffeyville and Conway Springs with occasional trips to Fredonia.

Jack was united in marriage to Pauline “Polly” Denny on February 23, 1955 in Bartlesville; they made their home in Delaware Ok. From that union 2 children were born a daughter Deborah “Debbie” Dawn and a son Jackie “Jack” Allen.

On May 6, 1975 Jack married Mary Francis Bowen, the couple made their home in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. He and Mary traveled to all of the continental United States. He adored his beloved dogs Duke, Lacey, and Tinkerbell. He was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in South Coffeyville, Ok. Jack enjoyed traveling, wood working, fishing, and the outdoors. Jack cherished his time with family. His orneriness and sense of humor was admired by all.

Jack is survived by his children; Debbie Diamond and husband Dale, Jack Webster and wife Bonnie, bonus daughter in law Ruth Robertson; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, & 4 great great grandchildren, 3 nieces and a nephew.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Polly Webster in 1974; second wife Mary Webster in 2020; a bonus son William “Bill” Robertson; grandson, Robert “Bobby” Robertson; siblings Rubye Cunningham and Myrtle Crear, and a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Journey Home, 900 NW Washington Blvd., Bartlesville, OK. 74006.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Delaware, OK.
