Imogene Loretta Henley, 92, of Collinsville, OK passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born March 17, 1923 in Quay, OK to John Russel and Nell Pearl (Sallee) Henson. She married Ralph Henley December 31, 1943. He passed away February 4, 2006. They met at the Pryor Powder Plant. She worked for the Shell Oil Company in the payroll department for several years until Shell Moved to Denver. In 1967, when they were in Wagoneer, they opened Henley’s Western Store which they ran for several years and at the same time they were Appaloosa Horse Breeders and raced horses.
She is survived by 2 sons: Michael E. Henley and his wife Shirley of Collinsville and Ralph Lee Henley, Jr. of Savannah, GA. 1 sister: Virginia Lee Bayless of Mannford, OK. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 and 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Ridgelawn Cemetery with Rev. Mike Frantz officiating.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.
