Helen Dorothy Ford

Helen Dorothy Ford, 83, of Skiatook, OK passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in Skiatook. Helen was born July 2, 1925 in Hominy to James C. and Mary Helen Burdick. She lived in the Skiatook area for the last 30 years having moved from California. She spent her time as a homemaker, raising four daughters during that time. She will be missed by many.

Helen is survived by 4 daughters, Carrol Jean Madole of Denison, TX, Arlene Starks of Skiatook, Mary Lou Butler and her husband Fred of Palm Desert, CA, and Sue Dotson of California; 1 sister, Thelma Adams of Collinsville; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, Lester Dotson, her husband of 37 years, and Vernace Ford, her husband of 5 years; 7 siblings, Gladys Howey, Howard Burdick, Ivan Burdick, Edwin Burdick, Lester Burdick, James Burdick, and Betty Clark.

Visitation for Helen will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. M.E. Anthony officiating. Interment will follow at Wann Cemetery. Under the Direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
