Helen Jean Fisher

Helen Jean Fisher, 85, of Collinsville, OK passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 in Tulsa. Helen was born May 11, 1926 in Oklahoma City to Frank and Olga (Keil) Balliett. She met and married Leland Fisher and together they raised two daughters. They moved to Collinsville from Tulsa in 1974. Helen was the Bookkeeper for Andy’s Foodliner in Collinsville until her retirement. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso and was their first organist and pianist. Helen loved children and rarely passed by without talking to them. Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Helen is survived by her husband, Leland Fisher of the home; 2 daughters, Linda Young and husband Ron of Collinsville, and Janie Sharpe and husband David of Tulsa; her brother, Leroy Balliett of Oklahoma City; her sister, Carolyn Bean of Oklahoma City; 3 Grandsons, Jeremy Justus, Jonathan Justus, Eric Justus; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Cordell Justus and Andy Justus. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Chester Balliett, Herbert Balliett, and Don Balliett.

Visitation for Helen will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso with Pastor Mark Neumann officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com.
