Harry Merle "H.M." Rogers, Jr.

H.M. Rogers, loving husband and father, passed from this earth into the arms of his Savior on August 5, 2009 after a long and courageous fight.

He was born in Collinsville on May 30, 1932 to Harry and Elsie Rogers. He attended and graduated from Collinsville High School in 1950.
He married Norma Collins. They had 4 daughters.
He retired after 39 years from American Airlines where he was a tech crew chief. He is a past Master of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge #165 and a former City Coucil member.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Norma. Daughters Terrie Farris and husband Ron, Patricia McCormick and husband John, Sharlotte Perez, Joyce Alley and husband Tim. Two sisters: Peggy Just & Alvin and Mary Baturevich & George, One brother, Larry Rogers. 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and Trixie.

He is loved and will be missed.

Visitation: Monday, August 10, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Community Church with Rick Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
