Harold Frank Thompson

Harold Frank Thompson of Oologah, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the age of 81.  Harold was born on June 9, 1942, in Martinsville, MO to Grady Harold and Mildred Lucille (McDaniel) Thompson.  He married Kay (Nale) Thompson on December 22, 1966, and together they raised two sons.  Harold made his career as a truck driver. He was a Nascar fan, with his favorite driver being Rusty Wallace.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and they will miss him dearly.

Harold is survived by his wife Kay Thompson of the home; 2 sons, Todd Thompson and wife Shelley, and Curtis Thompson; 2 sisters, Betty Lou Floyd and Shirley Kay Reilly; 4 grandchildren, Macy Roberts, Payton Thompson, Kaylee Thompson, and Grady Thompson; and a host of extended family and friends.  Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 sisters, Vera Mae Cross and Anna Fae Allen.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harold’s name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 am, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Talala.
