Harold Edward Andrews, 91, peacefully departed this world at his home on Monday, July 13, 2026, after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Harold resided in Collinsville, OK, with his wife, Angelita Andrews. 

Harold was born to Otto and Mable Andrews in Tulsa, OK, on June 28, 1935. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa in 1954. After graduation he joined the United States Marine Corp Reserves and was discharged in 1961 with an Honorable Discharge as a Sgt. E4. He also attended a technical school for drafting. He married his wife, Angelita, on July 1, 1955, in Tulsa, OK. They were married for 71 years this July, and had three daughters, Holly Sewell of Ada, OK, Vikki Fry of Collinsville, OK, and Hope Cole of Tulsa, OK. 

Harold began his career as a draftsman for John Zink, Nelson Electric, and Gemco after which he opened and operated his own plumbing business, Sooner Plumbing, in Tulsa, OK for about 10 years. After closing his plumbing business in 1980, he went to work for American Airlines in facility maintenance, working his way up to Crew Chief. He retired from American in 2013 after 33 years of service. 

Harold was a hard worker and provided well for his family. He loved spending time with family and friends. He could draw almost anything and he could also fix almost anything. His hobbies included reading, collecting knives and coins, and buying and working on old cars on his 10 acres he bought east of Collinsville. He had a passion for antique cars and he finally realized his dream of restoring one, a 1937 Chevy, in 2018. 

Harold is preceded in death by his sister, Noveline Andrews, his brother, Robert Andrews, his mother, Mable Andrews, his father, Otto Andrews, his sister Emma Jean Little, his granddaughter, Hosanna Joy Fry, and his granddaughter, Suzannah Faith Fry. 

He is survived by his wife, Angelita Andrews, his daughter, Holly and her husband, Guy Sewell, and their children, Major Shannon Sewell of the United States Space Force and Gessica and her husband, Dr. Wade McLanahan; his daughter, Vikki and her husband, Doug Fry, and their children, Adriana Reagh, Ness Fry, Erika and her husband, Jamin Schweiger, Hannah and her husband, Lincoln Beard, Noah and his wife, Brooke Fry, Jonah and his wife, Iris Fry, Micah and his wife, Erica Fry, Judah Fry, Angel Fry, Sophia Fry, Mirah Fry, and Emma Fry; his daughter Hope Cole and her daughter Megan and her husband Alden Yates. He is also survived by 29 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren with one due in October. 

Harold’s funeral will be held on July 21, 2026, at The Bible Church of Owasso, 201 N. Main, Owasso, OK, at 1:30 pm. Internment will be immediately after at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1609 W. 103rd St. N., Sperry, OK.
