Gregory Zane Owens

Gregory Zane Owens, passed away at the age of 72 in Tulsa, OK.  Greg was born on November 27, 1950 in Dallas, TX to Fred Oliver and Betty Marie Owens.  After graduating High School, Greg served his country as a Marine.  He then went into law enforcement and became a Deputy Sheriff in Wagner County.  Greg loved to talk and tell stories.  Once meeting you, he considered you a friend.  He was well loved and will be missed by many.  The family takes comfort in knowing he was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by his father Fred, mother Betty, his son Gregory Zane Owens II, and his little wife Delores.

Greg is survived by his sister Connie, his half brother Freddie, his two granddaughters Ashley Gorham and Autumn Owens, and his 4 great grandchildren Bentley Sanchez, Arya Gorham, Alyssa Gorham and Warren Page, and nephew Daniel Noble.

Visitation for Greg will be 12:00 pm- 1:45pm, Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.  Guests will be led in procession by Greg’s fellow Law Enforcement Officers to the 2:00 pm Graveside Service at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
