Granville 'Guy" Guymon Williams

Granville Guyman Williams left this world on his 95th Birthday, April 3, 2024. Born 5th of 10 children on April 3, 1929 to David Henry Williams and Mary Jane Raibourn in Farmington, Arkansas.

He went to school in Coweta and after he finished his service in the Army Air corp. he attended Oklahoma A&M at Okmulgee, OK.

On December 4, 1947 he Married Rebecca Lee Pierce and she joined him in Fairbanks, Alaska where he was stationed until his discharge in December of 1948. They returned to Oklahoma and lived east of Broken Arrow having 6 children.

Guy worked at several jobs including Douglas Aircraft, Medco Products, Masons Appliance, His own Appliance service, Travelers Insurance in Tulsa and finished his working career in a successful  Insurance agency of his own. In 1964 they moved to Tulsa, and later to Rural Oologah where they lived nearly 40 years and moved in 2016  to Collinsville, Oklahoma where he lived at his passing.

Guy is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, His Wife Rebecca, Daughters Cheryl and Carol, a grandson and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his youngest sister, Myrna and youngest brother Rowdy, His sons Warren, Richard and Dennis and a daughter Stephanie, 20+ grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren, more nieces, Nephews, and cousins than we can count. and wonderful friends far and near.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Monday, April 8, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the Community Church with Rev, Dr. Thomas D. Schwartz officiating.

Interment will follow at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at the Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
