G.L. Pilkington

G L Pilkington, 82, of Oologah, passed away at his home Sunday July 15. 2007. He was born September 7, 1924 in Seymour, MO. to Dallas and Myrtle (Kleier) Pilkington.

G L retired from American Airlines in 1981 and was a medic in the army in WW2.

He is survived by his children; Debra Burchett of Talala, Gary and his wife Gail Pilkington of Oologah, Clay Pilkington of Oologah, and Zenda and her husband John Chase of Woodward; grandchildren; Dax and his wife Amber Burchett, Luke Pilkington, Matt Pilkington, Joe Pilkington, Tristan Todd; great-grandchild Jaxson Burchett; a nephew, niece and many loving in-laws, cousins, etc.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Willie Mae, just two weeks earlier, his parents, brother Granville and four infant siblings.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Tabernacle in Collinsville, OK.
