Gertrude S. Crawford

Gertrude S. Crawford, 98, of Ramona, OK passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 in Dewey, OK. She was born December 9, 1911 in Baird to George A Swanson and the former Sarah Elizabeth Shelly. She graduated from Oklahoma A & M with a Masters in teaching. She taught school in several communities having retired from the Bartlesville School System. She had lived in Ramona for 50+ years and was a member of the Ramona Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sister: Patsy Vinson of Talala, 2 nephews, Bill Vinson and his wife Judy of Talala and Bob Vinson and his wife Karen of Ramona, OK. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her parents, 7 brothers and 1 sister.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 27, 2010 from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Ramona Church of Christ with Mr. Jim Pinkston officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
