Fred Sutton

A memorial service for Fred Sutton, 89, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Collinsville First Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.
Fred Sutton was born October 26, 1919 in Collinsville, OK, son of Frank and Oma May (Scroggins) Sutton. He died Saturday, July 18, 2009 in the Claremore Veterans Center.
Fred served in the U.S. Army from October 1942 until December 1945. He went to work for McDonnel Douglas and retired after 40 years. Other jobs included Meadow Gold Dairy, Ramsey Winch and truck driving. Hobbies included woodworking, traveling and small aircraft pilot. He also served as scoutmaster of Troop 95, Raccoon Patrol. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served as trustee.
Mr. Sutton is survived by two sons: Raymond of Skiatook and Roger and wife Stephanie of Collinsville and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, three wives, Helen, Sadie and Jeanne, two sisters, Anna Ratliff and Gertrude Case, and two brothers, Marion and Alfred Sutton.
All arrangements were entrusted to Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
