Fred Walter Plumer

Fred Walter Plumer, 87, of Talala, OK was the child of Walter Fred Plumer and Lottie Ethel Smith. He went to school at Snarr through 8th grade and went to Oologah Schools, playing Basketball through his High School career. After he graduated in 1943 he farmed. Fred married the love of his life, Anna Elizabeth Hannon on November 2, 1945. They had 2 Children, Walter Ray Plumer and Liz Campbell. Fred retired from McDonnell Douglas after working for 30 years in April 1982.

Fred is survived by his wife, Anna. His daughter, Liz Campbell, 4 sisters: Edith Hartman, Rebecca Barrett, Ruth Boyd and Donna Wofford. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
He is preceded in death by 2 brothers: Willard and George Plumer, 2 children: Walter Ray Plumer and an infant son, 4 great-great granddaughters.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Casey Warford officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Talala, OK. Services are under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
