Franklin Dewayne Vandiver

Franklin Dewayne Vandiver, 79 resident of Collinsville since 1979, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. He was born April 20, 1942 in Bucyrus, MO to Boyd Franklin Vandiver and the former Winona Mae Post. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Owasso, OK. He retired from PPG in 1992. After retirement he served in the M.A.P.S. Ministries for 19 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, traveling and his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bruce McCarty, Pastor Robert Polvado and Pastor Mike Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.

He is survived by his wife Susan Leona Vandiver of the home, 2 sons: David Vandiver and his wife Martha and Bryan Vandiver and his wife Sharilyn. 6 grandchildren: Greg Bare, Mark Bare, Brett Vandiver, Derek Vandiver, Samantha Vandiver and Blake Lemasters. 7 great-grandchildren: Calvin Bare, Isabella Bare, Keion Vandiver, Jerren Scott, Taryn Vandiver, Brynlee Vandiver and Jase Vandiver. He is also survived by 1 brother: Larry Vandiver and his wife Carol.
