Frank Henry Hoffman, 89, passed away peacefully in his home on April 16, 2016. He was born December 12, 1926 to the late Mike Hoffman and Mary Miller Hoffman in Collinsville, OK. He is preceded in death by his four sisters, four brothers, and one infant great granddaughter.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Collinsville. He served in the United States Army and is a World War II veteran. He married Thida Lee Blue on September 3, 1946. Together, they have four children. After forty nine years, he retired from Yuba Heat in 1989.
Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone he knew. He was very involved with his grandkids and was the biggest cheerleader at all of their sporting events. He loved working in his vegetable garden every year, and was an active member at St. Therese Catholic Church. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Thida, their children; Janice Winton and husband Gary; Robert Hoffman and wife Barbara; David Hoffman and wife Caryn; Vonda Tucker and husband Brian, all residents of Collinsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The Rosary service will be Thursday April 21st at 7:00 p.m., and the funeral service Friday April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church in Collinsville. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville.
