Floyd Ronald Walls, 84, of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Tulsa.

Floyd Ronald Walls was born January 15, 1940, in Cabool, Missouri, to Floyd Jesse Walls and Wilma Grace Branson Walls.
He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mount Pisgah Freewill Baptist Church.
He grew up on his parent’s farm where he helped milk the cows and do other chores.
At age 11, Ron was diagnosed with polio and was not expected to survive. He spent months in the hospital with severe back injuries before finishing his recovery at home surrounded by love and support from family. Despite all odds, he was able to walk again and live a full life.
Ron loved to play basketball and was an avid hunter throughout childhood and adulthood. During high school, he was involved in FFA. He graduated from Cabool High School in 1958.
Ron married the love of his life, Carletta Fern Williams, on June 1, 1959. Together, they had two children, Ricky and Kelly.
Ron worked as an electrical engineer, which took him all across the country. Over the years, they moved several times to Illinois and then to Missouri. He retired to Cabool, Missouri, until moving to Collinsville, Oklahoma, in 2016, where he became a proud member of the Collinsville First Baptist Church.
Ron adored his grandchildren and enjoyed teasing anyone and everyone. He loved spending time with family and prioritized it throughout his life. He especially enjoyed attending the Walls Family Reunions.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Wilma Walls, sister Barbara Ann Walls Gasperson, brother-in-law Jerry Keith Gasperson, and sister-in-law Ruby Janet Maxwell Walls.
Ron is survived by his wife, Carletta of Collinsville, Oklahoma; brother, Charles Eugene Walls, and wife, Betty of Azel, Texas; son, Ricky Dale Walls of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; daughter, Kelly Carlene Walls Branen, and husband, Steve of Collinsville, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Michaela Grace Branen Holland and husband Calem of Collinsville, Oklahoma; Brian Lee Walls of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; Lyndee Jo Branen Springer and husband Ethan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kaylyn Branen Snow and husband Jared of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
