Floyd Lionel Beeson, lifelong resident of Ramona, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. He was 98. Floyd was born October 28, 1909 to Edward M. and Jessie (Faulkner) Beeson. He worked as a pipefitter for most of his life. He retired in the 70’s and concentrated on farming and cattle. Floyd was a member of the Local Pipefitters Union #205 and #430, and the Masonic Lodge of Ramona. He will be missed by many.
Floyd is survived by 1 Son, Kent Beeson and his wife Charlotte of Ramona; 1 Sister, Verda of Broken Arrow; 1 Brother, Raymond Beeson and wife Doris of Branson, MO; 5 Grandchildren, Derek Beeson, Angie Bewley, Jill Clark, Stacy Baldwin, and Brooke Cain; 9 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward and Jessie Beeson, 2 Wives, Juanita (Wilkerson) Beeson and Maurine (Hull) Beeson; 1 Son, Tommy Beeson; 3 Sisters; and 1 Great Grandchild, Shelby Baldwin.
Visitation is set for 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Ramona. Interment follows at Ramona Cemetery.
