Evelyn Faith Prater

Evelyn Prater passed away on July 5, 2024, at seven years old following a five-month battle at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital, where she was listed inpatient for a heart transplant. Throughout her life, she exhibited tenderness and affection for her family and her animals.

Evelyn is survived by her mother and father, Jerry and Felicia, sisters Annabelle, Grace, and Eliana, grandparents David and Janice Sivertsen, Terry and Kim Sullivan, Jerry and Glada Prater, Jody and Kim Chance, aunts and uncles Suzanne Sivertsen, Nate and Alexis Ruegger, Buck and Brittany Cheney, Emily Edmondson, Tyler Sullivan, and cousins Ella, Easton, and Everly Cheney, Piper and Brennan Edmondson. Evelyn was preceded in death by her sister, Scarlett Prater.

A memorial service will be held at Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024.
