Eugene Leon Edwards, 86, of Collinsville, OK, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Collinsville, OK. He was born January 24, 1929 in Chandler, OK to Hilliard Edwards and the former Nellie Louise Cochran. He had lived in Collinsville for the last year having moved from Austin, TX. He attended the Shelter Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Retired Colonel in the United States Army and had a 30-year career with Conoco Phillips.

He is survived by 4 Children: Laure Edwards Reminick, Marcus Stephen Edwards, Eugene Leon Edwards, Jr., and Lucas Mikell Edwards, and 1 sister: Jean Weese Thomason.

He is preceded in death by 1 daughter: Soraya Edwards.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Shelter Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Bilby officiating.

Funeral services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
