Ernest Eugene Harris

Ernest Eugene Harris, 69, of Collinsville, OK passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 in Collinsville. He was born August 15, 1940 to Ulice A. Harris and the former Ruby Clifton in Tulsa, OK. He had lived in the Collinsville area for the last 33 years. He was a Deacon in the Collinsville Christian Church. He was the former owner of the Tulsa Match Plate Company.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home. 3 sons: Terry Harris and his wife Melissa of Wills Point, TX, Paul Harris of Vera, and Danny Harris and his wife Jamie Hall of Collinsville. 3 Daughters: Pamela Coffman and her husband Gary of Woodland, TX, Ashley Harris of Collinsville and Sharon Rene McGenhee of Collinsville, OK and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 3 Brothers: Bobby Harris, Richard Harris and Homer Harris. 4 sisters: Lilly Abel, Regina Surber, Melba Tillery and Betty Trantham. He also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Lewis Harris.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Collinsville Christian Church with Rev. Bob Haywood. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.
