Erma R. Andersen

Erma R. Andersen, 95, of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Collinsville, OK. She was born November 2, 1916 in Exira, IA to Chris Johnson and Dorothy (Lauridsen) Johnson. She had lived in Collinsville since 2007 having moved from Iowa. She married William E. Andersen on December 1, 1936 in Shenandoah, IA. She was baptized and confirmed in the Hamlin Lutheran Church. She was a long time member of the Exira Lutheran Church.

Survived by her daughter; Janet Smalygo of Collinsville, OK. 1 daughter-in-law: Karan Walker of Las Vegas, NV. 7 Grandchildren: Jeff Andersen, Craig Andersen and his wife Brenda, Julie Starnes and her husband Steve all of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kristin Kuykendall and her husband Bo, Kyle Smalygo and his wife Megan and Kent Smalygo of Collinsville, OK and Kelly Smalygo and his wife Angela of Claremore, OK., 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 1 sister: Vera Andersen of Audubon, IA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, William E. Andersen, Sr. ,1 son: William E. Andersen, Jr.,1 son-in-law: Millard Smalygo, 1 brother: Milo Johnson and 1 sister: Violet Poulsen.

Memorial Services will be 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Cornerstone Church in Collinsville.
