Ellen Louise Moore

Ellen Louise Moore of Collinsville, OK passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 90. Ellen was born on August 20, 1933, in Collinsville to William and Lottie Mae (Roberts) McAfee. She married Bob G. Moore in 1950 and they were together for 73 years.  Ellen taught many children in Sunday school over the years.  She was an avid reader. Her favorite author was Jan Karon, in which she has read every book she released.  She loved birds, the outdoors, and taking care of the farm.  She could even be found driving a tractor and mowing the pastures.  Ellen loved her family dearly and she will be missed by many.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Bob G. Moore of the home; 2 sons, Jesse Dean Moore and Tony Moore; 5 grandchildren, Jared and Sunni Moore, Jessica and Gregg Metzger, Travis Moore, Joel and Sandra Moore, and Jordan Moore; 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings.

Visitation for Ellen will be from 9am-8pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
