Elizabeth Mae Sweeney

Elizabeth Mae Sweeney, 89, of Collinsville, OK passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007. She was born September 14, 1917in London, Arkansas to Clarence Walker and the former Bertha Trapp.

She had lived most of her life in Collinsville, OK. She was a member St. Therese Catholic Church where she was active in The Legion of Mary, Alter Society and Women’s Club.

She is survived by one son: Joe Sweeney and partner Cheryl Lee Clay of Bixby, OK. 1 Daughter: Vicki Jolley and her husband Jack of Oologah, OK. 2 Sisters: Alma Blakley of Catoosa, OK and Katy Rott and her husband Fred of Pryor, OK. 9 Grandchildren, Numerous Great-grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Victor Sweeney and 2 sons, Everett Sweeney and Johnny Sweeny.

A Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at St. Therese Catholic Church and the Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007 at the St. Therese Catholic Church with interment following at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.
