Eldon Leon Duty, 93, of Collinsville, OK, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 in Claremore, OK. He was born April 3, 1923 in Clarksville, AR to Sam Richard Duty and the former Emma Russell. He was a mechanic for Ryder Truck Rental for many years and a member of the Church of Christ Restored.
He is survived 2 sons: Ron Perkins and his wife Linda of Independence, MO and Dan Perkins and his wife Kathy of Collinsville. 1 daughter: Teresa Terry Wood of Miami, OK. 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by 1 sister: Sue Lindsay of El Segundo, CA.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Winna Duty. 3 Children: Jerry Perkins, Karen Perkins and Kathy Perkins, and 1 grandson, Steve McKay, 1 brother: Don Duty and 1 sister: Dottie Laredo.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK with Elder Dan Perkins officiating.
Services have been entrusted to Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
