Edward Lee Isam, Sr.

Edward Lee Isam, Sr., of Skiatook, OK passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Springfield, MO. He was 69. Edward was born in Tulsa, OK on January 9, 1948 to Carroll Edward and Chris (Berna) Isam. Edward served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He married Donna Ruffino on January 27, 1969 in Tulsa. Edward worked as the company president for Reiss Painting until his retirement. He enjoyed collecting knives, building things, mowing yards, and just working in general.

Edward is survived by his wife Donna Isam of the home; his children, Brian Isam and wife Liz of Skiatook; Edward Isam, Jr. and wife Dawn of Bentonville, AR, and Teresa Sanders and husband Mark of Ponca City; 9 grandchildren, Jocelyn, Mallory, Blayne, Edward III, Erin, Dakota, Samantha, Anthony, and Hailee; 7 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; a host of extended family and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his son Randy Isam, and 4 brothers.

Visitation for Edward will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 1:30- 6:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at Riveted Church in Skiatook with Rev. Jim Stratton officiating. Interment will be  at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK at 1:00 p.m.. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, (918) 371-2111.
