Edward Lee Biggs

Edward Lee Biggs was born March 28, 1955 in Lockland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. He died January 17, 2022 at his home in Collinsville, OK.

Visitation will be 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, January 23, 2022 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Edward is preceded in death by: father: “T.W.”  Biggs, mother: Joy Ann Biggs and a sister Christine (Biggs) Walker.

Survived by: 1 sister: Gina Kathleen Biggs Judy, daughter: Heather Moreland, son: Matt Moreland and his wife Amber, and son: Robert Biggs, grandchildren: Cameron And Lily Tattershall, Cannan Biggs, and Mattie Moreland.

Eddie served in the Air Force and as an Airframe repair specialist and was given an honorable discharged in October 1974. He was employed by American Airlines for 29 years as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician.  He loved what he did and was a dedicated employee until the time of his death. Anyone who knows Edward “Eddie” knows how much he loved all things music. Whether that was creating or playing. He was fluent at several at several instruments, but his first love was the guitar. He also enjoyed deer hunting and was a lifetime NRA member.  Collecting antiques was a hobby he was always pursuing. Possibly the greatest of his attributes was his character. From the many kids he coached in baseball, to the employees he loved to be around everyday at work, he valued friendship, family and life everyday. He we will be missed dearly by all the lives he touched.
