Edith Riggs

Lila “Edith” Riggs, 84, was born on December 29, 1923 to Henry and Delilah Loggan in Independence, KS. She was married to Torrence Riggs on June 28, 1941 in Galena, Missouri.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; Four Brothers: Darrel, Paul, Charles and Jim, a great-grandson, Keaton Todd Horner and her middle son, Donald Paul Riggs.
Edith is survived by her husband, Torrence of the home; sons: Gary Riggs and wife Dee and Carol Riggs all of Collinsville. Grandaughters; Teri Horner and husband Tracy, daughters Christin and Logan of Claremore; Tina Schmauss and husband Mike, Daughter Brittni and son Brandon; Toni Thomason and husband Brandon, daughters Paige, Morgan and Camden; Christy Webb and husband Travis; and Stacy VonSchriltz, daughter Elizabeth and son Gunther all of Collinsville. Two sisters- Evelyn Caldwell of Irving, TX and Dorothy Rivoli of Vancouver, Washington; plus a host of nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
Edith was a long time member of the Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle, Collinsville Garden Club, Collinsville Home Extension Club, Tops Club #OK298, Collinsville and a volunteer at the Collinsville Tri-County Fair.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle Church with Rev. Gary Cate officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
