Eddie Glen Fleming, 73 of Owasso, OK passed away, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. He was born September 2, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to Chester Earl Fleming and the former Mary Lucille Crandell. He owned and operated Edd Ayr Farm for 20 years, then had sheep, chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs – always had some animal around. He worked for Rockwell International/Boeing, as a Maintenance Supervisor for 30 years. In his retirement, he was a bus driver for Collinsville Public Schools for 10 years.
Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Graveside funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Oakhill Cemetery in Oologah, Ok with Pastor Brandon Lattimer officiating.
He is survived by his wife of almost 10 years, Susan Williams Fleming, 3 daughters: Lucinda Fleming (husband Luke Gordon), Cheri’ Fleming (husband Wayne Van Dolah) and Mary Susan Fleming. 3 granddaughters: Amelia Call (husband James Call), Robyn Wood (husband Brad Wood) and Sarah Gordon. 2 great grandsons: James Kenneth Call III and Nicholas Edward Call and one step-great granddaughter, Josie Wood. 4 stepchildren: Stephanie Dowdy (husband John), Matthew Catlett (wife Lacey), Luke Catlett (wife Hannah) and Holly Echo Catlett. 6 step grandchildren: Sarah Dowdy, David Dowdy, Cyrus Dowdy, Stuart Dowdy, Konrad Catlett. 2 sisters, Sue Dodsworth and Joyce Carter.
Numerous nieces, nephews, and many kids who adopted him as grandpa through the years also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Mary Fleming and 1 brother: James Fleming
