Dortha Mae Rosenow

Dortha Mae Rosenow, 76, lifelong resident of Talala, OK went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2024, in Claremore, OK. She was born October 21, 1947, in Talala to John Thomas Haskell Hartman and the former Clara Larimore. She graduated from Oologah High School in 1965 and went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social services from NSU in Tahlequah, OK. She was saved as a young child and spent her life serving the Lord and teaching her children about Jesus. She enjoyed singing at church and gardening. She also loved her grandchildren and visiting her family.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm, Monday, August 5, 2024, at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Oologah Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kent Jensen officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Talala, OK.

She is survived by 3 children and their families:  son: Matt Rosenow and his wife Kimberly, their 2 children: Noah and Caitlynn, son: Tom Rosenow and his wife Janessa and their 4 children: Blake, Beth, Dylan and Katy, and daughter: Claire Markham and her husband Dan of Oologah and their children: Landen, John, Emma and Mary Mae. She is also survived by 1 brother: Bill Hartman and his wife Kim of Yukon, OK and 1 brother-in-law: Ellis Robison.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Bill Rosenow, 1 sister: Wilma Robison and 1 brother: Tommy Hartman.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
