Dorothy Marie Buster, 95, of Oologah, OK passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. She was born September 30, 1920 in Collinsville to George Douglass and the former Pauline Jackson. She had worked at McDonnell Douglas during World War II. She then became a Ranchers wife when she married Noel L. Buster May 27, 1939 in Claremore, OK. She had lived in Oologah since 1944, was a member of the Oologah United Methodist Church, and a member of the Will Rogers Roundup Club. Mrs. Buster retired from the Oologah Post office after 21 years. She was proud and loving mother, grand-mother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by 3 children: Ronald Buster and his wife Yvonne of Choctaw, OK, Larry Buster of Oologah and Brenda Ulrey of Oologah, 1 sister: Joan Cox and her husband Morrison of Talala, 1 brother: Jerry Douglas and his wife Peggy of Collinsville, 4 grandchildren: Randy and his wife Barbara Buster of Choctaw, Brad Buster of Choctaw, Dusty Ulrey and his wife Genny of Oologah and Casey Ulrey of Oologah, and 6 great-grandchildren: Matt Buster, Tommy Buster, Jessica Buster, Colt Ulrey, Cordell Ulrey and Cooper Ulrey.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Noel Leon Buster.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Oologah United Methodist Church with Pastor Jennifer Long. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
