Doris June Martin

Doris June Martin of Collinsville, a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, passed from this life to her heavenly home on February 22, 2007 at the age of 63. She was born in Oklahoma City on December 29, 1943 to Violet and Thomas Laughlin. Doris was raised in Harrah Ok. and later moved to Shawnee, where she met and married her husband of 47 years. She and Ralph later moved to Collinsville where they have resided for the past 42 years. She was a woman of great virtue whose love, kindness and mercy were known by all whose lives she touched. Doris is survived by her husband Ralph Martin; one daughter Renee and son-in-law Danny Pilgrim of Oologah; two sons, Steve Martin of Tulsa; Kevin Martin and daughter-in-law Darla of Talala; one brother J.T. Laughlin of Shawnee, Ok; one sister Cloma Hoekstra of Oklahoma City; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was a woman whose faith, though tested, remained unshakable. Through her anointed ministry many have been blessed by her God given strengths. Doris will be lovingly remembered for her friendly spirit, devotion to God and family, loyalty to friends and the power of prayer. Services were held February 26th at Miracles of Faith in Collinsville, with Pastor Jim Carney officiating.
