Doris Jeanette Franklin

Doris Jeanette Franklin of Oologah, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 78.  Doris was born on June 22, 1944, in Berlin, Germany to her mother, Eugene Wittig.  She married Wilbur J. Franklin and together they started their family. They moved from Abilene, TX to Oologah in 1978.  Doris led a quite life, but enjoyed gardening, taking care of her dogs, and going to garage sales. She will be missed dearly.

Doris is survived by her daughter Patricia Thompson and her children, Mitch Johnson, Alyssa Thompson, Shayla Wells and husband Brady, and great grandchildren, Bentli, Jacie, and Xavier.  Her son, John Franklin and wife Monica and their children, Tarrah and Dylan Franklin.  Doris was preceded in death by her mother and her husband.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 15, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah.  Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral home, (918) 371-2111, collinsvillefh.com.
