Donald Wayne Burch was born on February 8th, 1953, in the Mercy Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The hospital isn’t there anymore, closed a few years after I was born. I was Born the 13th of 14 children to Robert Henry and Hazel Irene (Dildine) Burch. The scale at the hospital only went to 13 pounds. When they laid me on the scale it went all the way down, so they put my weight as 13 pounds, but I really weighed more. I attended and graduated from Collinsville High School in May of 1972 along with just over 100 others. On April 11, 1981, I tricked my beautiful and sexy wife, Kathy Jean Pruett into marrying me. Boy she had no idea what she was getting into, guess she thought I had money (fooled her good).
The things I enjoyed most were being with family and collecting as much junk as possible. Wish I could take all my family and junk with me! Hope to see all of you over on the other side of the Jordan.
I was a lifelong resident of Collinsville “cause I lived there all my life”. I am survived by my wife Kathy of our home in Collinsville, my daughter Hannah Wilson and her husband Hubert, my 2 grandsons Colton and Mason and 4 sisters: LaDonna DeArmond, Sandra Hunt and her husband Johnnie, and Linda Goodhue all of Collinsville and Phyllis Phillips of Claremore. Think there is about 200 Nieces and Nephews, 1000 Great-nieces and nephews and 2050 ½ Great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Robert Burch and momma, Hazel Burch. Also he was preceded in death by his 7 siblings: 4 brothers, Bobby, Jimmy, Benny, Roy Eugene Burch and 5 sisters, Betty Nell Nash, Shirley McGuire, Scarlet Nash, Beulah Hunter and Louise Spencer
