David Martin, 64 of Collinsville, formerly Broken Arrow, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Owasso. He was born September 10, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents Joe Martin and Patricia Storm. After graduating from McClain High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.
Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 18, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Collinsville with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.
David married his first wife, Mary Katherine Bates, in 1977 and divorced 1986. They have two sons Nicholas and Gregory Martin. David married his forever wife Janice Taylor Dale in 1987. They lived in Broken Arrow where they raised their son Andy Dale.
David made his career as a General Manager for the Mazzio’s Corporation where he worked for 20+ years before retiring from full time in 2013. He enjoyed the annual family vacation, attending sporting events, dinner with friends, bowling and golf. He and Janice decided to become members of First Baptist Church of Collinsville and relocated to the area in 2017 to be closer to their church community.
David is survived by his wife Janice Martin; three sons, Stepson Andy Dale of Houston, Texas, Nicholas Martin and his wife Suezanna of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Gregory Martin and his wife Carole of Montreal, Quebec; Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Destiny and her husband AJ Wright, Bailey Martin, Nathaniel Martin, Riley Martin, Ariah Wright, and Dominick Martin all of Owasso, Oklahoma; Mateo Martin of Montreal, Quebec; his mother Patricia Martin of Collinsville, Oklahoma; and many, many other family members and friends.
