DALE LYNN JACKSON
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. II Corinthians 12:9, NIV

In the last few years of Dale’s life, the above passage became his constant reminder to encourage him to continue to fight, and not complain. He encouraged others with his attitude of cheerfulness despite his condition. He shared the passage with others when they mentioned his adversity. It was his anchor, and among his last words.
