Clyde Lee Christie of Collinsville, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Tulsa. He was 69. Clyde was born July 22, 1944 to Junior Lee Christie and the former Gladys Thompson in Tahlequah. Clyde married Tommy Ann Parker on February 3, 1967 in Keys. Together they raised three children. Tommy preceded him in death on March 10, 2011. Clyde was a loader operator for APAC until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of Collinsville Free Will Baptist Church. He liked fishing, motorcycles, dune buggies and hanging out back with the guys. Clyde and Tommy enjoyed going to car shows and riding around in the cars he restored. Clyde and Tommy are now reunited, but he will be missed by those he leaves behind.
Clyde is survived by three children, Steve Christie and wife Paige of Claremore, JoAnn Camp and husband Ross of Collinsville, and Marsha Jones and husband Gary of Terlton; seven grandchildren, Trey Jones, Ashley Jones Nielson and husband Alex, Corban Christie, Cameron Camp, Caitlin Camp, Shay DiSalvatore, and Carly DiSalvatore. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Tommy, and his mother-in-law, Lizzie Parker. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home, www.collinsvillefh.com.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Chapel at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Crittenden Cemetery near Tahlequah.
