Clyde Oliver Bradford, 89, of Collinsville, OK passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in Collinsville. He was born August 15, 1921 in Mingo, OK to Leroy and Maggie (Vaughn) Bradford. He had lived most of his life in this area. He retired from McDonnell Douglas. He served his country as a Medic in the Army during WWII.
He is survived by his daughter, Clydean McLaughlin of Collinsville, OK. 3 sons: Gary and Betty Cooper of Muldrow, OK, R.J. and Lisa Cooper of Muldrow, OK and Larry and Shawn Cunningham of Collinsville, 22 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Opal Garman of Tulsa and Virginia Phillips of Irving, TX.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Bradford, 3 Brothers, Ray, Henry and Dude Bradford, 1 sister, Ida Ferguson and 1 great-grandson, Michael Dean Cooper, Jr.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sperry, OK with Elder C.H. Whiteman officiating. Pallbearers will be: Ronn Badertscher, Kyle Badertscher, Justin Hedlund, Don French, Danny Sutherland, Christine Blue and Haley Blue. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK.
