Christy Lynn Parks

Christy Lynn Parks of Collinsville, passed away, Monday, September 3, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on December 28, 1969 in Richland Hills, TX to Lee Roy Mayes and the former Linda Sue Scudder. She had lived in Collinsville for most of her life having moved here when she was an infant. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collinsville before moving to help start Eastside Baptist church. Christy was a talented photographer and worked for Photography by Steed.  She even sold some of her pictures for publication.  Christy was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Christy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Henry Parks; her mother, Sue of the Owasso;  5 siblings: Jimmy Mayes of Tulsa, David Mayes of Riverside, CA., Marty Mayes of Owasso, Hannah Mayes of Stillwater and Rachel Mayes of Stillwater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Her father, Lee Roy Mayes, her grandparents, and her mother-in-law, Alice Parks, preceded Christy in death.

A Memorial Service honoring Christy will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 7, 2018 at Eastside Baptist Church in Collinsville with Pastor Michael Nunn officiating.
