Christopher Edward Schondel of Oologah, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010. He was 24. Christopher was born January 27, 1986 in Sylvania, OH to Kenneth Edward Schondel, III and the former Debra Lou Spurgeon. His family moved to Oologah in 2000 from Ohio. He worked as a Contractor in the construction industry and also was a member of the Army Reserves.
Chris did love to make everyone laugh. He was our own personal comedian. When you were down he always turned the unhappiness around to where you would forget what you were even upset about. He could make everyone laugh to the point that their eyes would water and their stomachs would hurt.
Chris always loved to give hugs and kisses. He would come up and give hugs then a bunch of little kisses on the cheek. He always made it known that he loves you.
Chris always loved to make rhymes out of songs. He enjoyed making up things to sing about. He was very talented at getting words off the top of his head. He always had something different to say every time he rhymed. His family loved him dearly and he will be missed by many.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Ken and Debra Schondel of the home; 4 siblings, Joshua John and Ashley Dawn Schondel, Derick Lee and Heather Annette Schondel, Sarah Marie Schondel, and Tonya Kay Schondel; Grandparents, Kenneth E. and Susan Kay Schondel, Sandra Kay and James R. Thomas, and John Russell Spurgeon; 4 Uncles, David Charles Schondel, John Russell Spurgeon, Jack Spurgeon, and Mark Thomas; an Aunt, Kelley Thomas; 1 niece and 4 nephews; and a host of family and friends.
