Christine Hunter

Christine Hunter of Collinsville, OK passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 in Tulsa, OK. She was 76. Christine was born November 22, 1932 in Durant, OK to Everette and Bessie (Roller) Moore. She met and married Loyd Hunter and together they raised 3 children. They moved to Collinsville from the Oklahoma City area in 1959. Together they enjoyed traveling with the Collinsville Redbird R.V. Club. Christine’s other hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting. She will be missed by many.

Christine is survived by her husband Loyd Hunter of the home; 3 children, Edward Glen Hunter and his wife Debbie of Hectorville, Kenneth Ray Hunter and his wife Janice of Catoosa, and Linda Gayle Hubbard and Douglas Edward Miller of Collinsville; 4 grandchildren, Gregory Paul Hunter, Nicholas Ryan Hunter, Daniel Ross Hubbard, and Jacquelyn Renea Hubbard; 2 great grandchildren, Wyatt Paul Hunter and Aiden Daniel Hubbard; and one great grandchild on the way. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Bessie Moore, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Visitation for Christine will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Reverend William Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
