Chester Lloyd Baldwin

Chester Lloyd ‘Chet” Baldwin, 91, life resident of Oologah, OK, passed Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at his home. He was born January 9, 1916 to Hattie and George Baldwin. He married his High School sweetheart, Ruth Dirickson on November 23, 1936. They have three children: Jack, Judy and Linda.He retired from the State of Oklahoma at the age 65.

Chet is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 71 years. His daughters: Judy Ashwood and her husband Danny of Oologah, OK and Linda Mattison and her husband Glen of Skiatook, OK., 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jack Lloyd Baldwin.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Assembly of God Chruch on Oologah,OK with Rev. Mark Bright and Rev. Ben Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakhill Cemetery in Oologah.

Services are under the direction of Oologah Dolton Funeral Home.
